Hemmenway Elementary

From Walker Elementary, Lakeville, Eagle Ranch, Villages of Bear Creek north of Wildcroft Road , not including Wildcroft Road , and area north of Westfield Village and south of Bear Creek will be rezoned to Hemmenway.

From Duryea Elementary, the part of Bear Creek Meadows in the Duryea zone will be rezoned to Hemmenway.

M. Robinson Elementary

From Walker Elementary, the Villages of Bear Creek south of Wildcroft Road , including Wildcroft Road , will be rezoned to Robinson.

From Sheridan Elementary, Cypress Meadows, Windstone Colony South, Westgreen Lakes south of Kieth Harrow, Westfield Village , Westfield Pines, Ricewood Village , and areas south of Kieth Harrow and west of Fry Road will be rezoned to Robinson.

Andre' Elementary

From Warner, Yaupon Ranch and Remington Grove will be rezoned to Andre'.

Canyon Village at Cypress Springs will be rezoned from Andre' to Walker .

Tealbrook, Oak Landing, Lancaster, Amhurst, and Cypress Springs South will be rezoned from Andre' to Duryea.

Copeland Elementary

From Holmsley, Westgate and the Carrington Apartments will be rezoned to Copeland.

Windhaven and the section of Canyon Lakes West located adjacent to Lone Oak will be rezoned from Copeland to Postma.

Duryea Elementary

From Andre' , Tealbrook, Oak Landing, Lancaster, Amhurst, and Cypress Springs South will be rezoned to Duryea.

The part of Bear Creek Meadows in the Duryea zone will be rezoned to Hemmenway.

Paddock and Strathmore will be rezoned from Duryea to Jowell.

Holmsley Elementary

Westgate will be rezoned from Holmsley to Copeland.

The Alexan Sommerall Apartments will be rezoned from Holmsley to Lowery.

The Carrington Apartments will be rezoned from Holmsley to Copeland.

Jowell Elementary

From Duryea, Paddock and Strathmore will be rezoned to Jowell.

The section of Bear Creek Plantation south of W. Little York, Cypress Falls , Barker Village , and Austinville will be rezoned from Jowell to McFee.

Lowery Elementary

From Holmsley, the Alexan Sommerall Apartments will be rezoned to Lowery.

McFee Elementary

From Jowell, the section of Bear Creek Plantation south of W. Little York, Cypress Falls , Barker Village , and Austinville will be zoned to McFee.

Brenwood south of the easement located just south of Sandelford, not including Sandelford, and Windsong Place will be zoned from McFee to Sheridan .

Postma Elementary

From Copeland, Windhaven and the section of Canyon Lakes West located adjacent to Lone Oak will be rezoned to Postma.

Sheridan Elementary

Cypress Meadows, Windstone Colony South, Westgreen Lakes south of Kieth Harrow, Westfield Village , Westfield Pines, Ricewood Village , and areas south of Kieth Harrow and west of Fry Road will be rezoned to Robinson.

Walker Elementary

From Andre', Canyon Village at Cypress Springs will be rezoned from Andre' to Walker . The Villages of Bear Creek south of Wildcroft Road , including Wildcroft Road , will be rezoned to Robinson.

Lakeville, Eagle Ranch, Villages of Bear Creek north of Wildcroft Road , not including Wildcroft Road , and area north of Westfield Village and south of Bear Creek in the Walker zone will be zoned to Hemmenway.

Warner Elementary

Yaupon Ranch and Remington Grove will be rezoned from Warner to Andre'.

Transfer Rules for Students Affected by an Elementary Boundary Change

• Students who will be in the fifth grade for the 2008-09 school year who are affected by a boundary change will have the option to remain at their current elementary school by requesting a student transfer. This option is not available for younger siblings.
• These student transfers will not be required to pay the $25 transfer fee that is required for all other transfers.
• Students must complete transfer requests prior to the opening of the 2008-09 school year.
• Requests for student transfers not described above must adhere to district transfer policies and regulations.
• Fifth-grade students who move into the rezoned area after the end of the 2007-08 school year will attend the elementary school designated by the rezoning.
• There will be no bus transportation provided for elementary transfer students, because buses will only be transporting students to the rezoned school.
