Goodson MS |
All area within the Sampson Elementary zone, which will include, but will not be limited to, Coles Crossing, will be rezoned from Goodson to Spillane. In addition, the Park at Arbordale will be rezoned from Goodson to Spillane. |
Spillane MS |
All area west of Mueschke Road in the current Spillane zone will be rezoned from Spillane to Salyards MS. This will include, but will not be limited to, Fairfield, Lakes of Fairhaven, Saddle Ridge Estates, and Cypress Park. Also, the area on the east side of Mueschke Road in the current Cypress Ranch High School zone, which will include, but will not be limited to, part of Villages of Cypress Lakes west of the golf course and the Grand Cypress Apartments, will be rezoned from Spillane to Salyards MS.

Student Transfer Recommendations for Middle Schools
- Students who are affected by a middle school boundary change and who will be in the eighth grade during the 2011-12 school year may choose to transfer to their original middle school rather than attend the middle school designated by the rezoning. All applications for transfers under the stipulations in paragraph 1 must be completed and turned in by April 8, 2011. This option is not available for younger siblings who must attend the school designated by the rezoning.
- Student transfers under the stipulation described above will not be required to pay the $25 transfer fee that is required for all other transfers.
- Eighth-grade students who move into the rezoned area after the end of the 2010-11 school year will attend the middle school designated by the rezoning.
- Any request for a student transfer not covered in paragraph (1) above, must adhere to district transfer policies and regulations.
- Parents are responsible for transportation of transfer students.
Student Transfer Recommendations for Elementary Schools
- Students who will be in the fifth grade for the 2011-12 school year who are affected by a boundary change will have the option to remain at their current elementary school by requesting a student transfer. All applications for transfers under the stipulations in paragraph 1 must be completed and turned in by April 8, 2011. This option is not available for younger siblings.
- These student transfers will not be required to pay the $25 transfer fee that is required for all other transfers.
- Requests for student transfers not described above must adhere to district transfer policies and regulations.
- Fifth-grade students who move into the rezoned area after the end of the 2010-11 school year will attend the elementary school designated by the rezoning.
- There will be no bus transportation provided for elementary transfer students, because buses will only be transporting students to the rezoned school.
