The focus of Music Memory for students in fourth and fifth grades is an in-depth study of eight pieces of music literature. Students are exposed to a variety of composers, their lives and their music. Throughout the year, students are given the opportunity to describe and analyze the music, relate the music to history, to society and to culture, and to evaluate musical performances.
