Music Memory Listening Selections

The CFISD Music Memory Contest will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.  District elementary schools may bring teams of seven students from grades four and five to compete in the contest.  Students will study eight composers and musical works during the 2011 – 2012 school year to prepare for the event.  During the contest, students will listen to brief excerpts from the songs to try to identify the musical selections. 

School teams will be awarded gold, silver, or bronze trophies/plaques.  Individual students will receive participation certificates and medals.
