- Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. supports the use of technology in elementary music classrooms. Each music classroom is equipped with a Computer Teacher Workstation that includes a computer with connections to a television screen. Teachers may use this computer and television display for whole-class instruction in music content.
- Roland sequencers and Yamaha keyboards are standard equipment in the elementary music classroom. The music keyboards can be connected to the computer via a midi cable.
- Every elementary music classroom has a mini-computer lab. The workstations consist of two computer tables, three laptop or desktop computers, and one printer. Teachers may utilize the workstations in a variety of ways.
- Several different music software applications are installed on each computer. The activities are used by the teachers to extend student learning opportunities.
- The district elementary music department provides technology training and support for teachers.
