Science is a body of developing ideas. It is a way of thinking, investigating and knowing. Science and technology are related as science produces knowledge that results in technological applications impacting society. Through the science program in Cypress-Fairbanks, students develop an understanding of the scientific aspects of the world around them, and at the same time develop problem-solving and decision-making skills. Students become scientifically-literate individuals who continue to learn as science knowledge and applications progress throughout their adult lives.
