In a recent newspaper article, CFISD was listed as a district that had been notified about the recall of beef. Cypress-Fairbanks has received ground beef from Westland Meat Company. The ground beef in question is a USDA commodity product.
The ground beef and all products produced with this ground beef have been placed on administrative hold until further instructions are received from USDA. Menus will be altered accordingly.
The food service department has alternative suppliers. Any menu changes will be temporary.
