High Voltage Volume
- CFISD operates a central production facility to accommodate the volume
- Some elementary schools serve up to 1,400 students daily and up to 2,300 students in high schools daily
- 83,000 lunches and 25,000 breakfasts are served every day
- 19,000,000 meals are served per year
Going Green
- We recycle 5 gallon buckets, aluminum cans and cardboard boxes used both within the schools and central production facility
- We use biodegradable milk cartons instead of glass or plastic bottles
- Biodegradable “Enviroware” brand trays and “Dispozo” brand containers are used at the schools
