High Voltage Volume

  • CFISD operates a central production facility to accommodate the volume
  • Some elementary schools serve up to 1,400 students daily and up to 2,300 students in high schools daily
  • 83,000 lunches and 25,000 breakfasts are served every day
  • 19,000,000 meals are served per year

Going Green

  • We recycle 5 gallon buckets, aluminum cans and cardboard boxes used both within the schools and central production facility
  • We use biodegradable milk cartons instead of glass or plastic bottles
  • Biodegradable  “Enviroware” brand trays and “Dispozo” brand containers are used at the schools
