| Network/Internet
access is available to students, teachers and staff in CFISD. The
Internet is a network connecting millions of computer users all over
the world. The Internet enables worldwide connections to electronic
mail, discussion groups, databases, software, and other information
sources, such as libraries and museums. CFISD provides Network/Internet
access to promote educational excellence in the district by facilitating
resource sharing, innovation, and communication. CFISD firmly believes
that the valuable information and interaction available on the Network/Internet
far outweighs the possibility that users may procure material that
is not consistent with the educational goals of the District.
All district employees are asked to sign and agree to the acceptable use guidelines regarding appropriate use of these resources. Violations of this agreement may prompt termination of privileges and other disciplinary action. |

Enduring Understanding: All district employees have access to a wealth of technology through the district's network. It is imperative that each employee clearly understands the acceptable uses of that technology in order to represent to students, other district employees, and the community the exemplary standards CFISD expects from its employees and students.
