Cy Woods HS, Smith MS, Pope ES lead CFISD in area school rankings

 Cypress Woods High School is CFISD’s top-ranking campus among the best public high schools in the Houston metro area according to the website Niche.com, which analyzes data and reviews to produce comprehensive rankings and profiles for every K-12 school in the United States. Cypress Woods, Smith Middle School and Pope Elementary School are CISD’s top-ranked school at each respective level.

Cypress Woods, Smith Middle School and Pope Elementary School are CFISD’s top-ranked school at each respective level. 

Oct. 31, 2017—Cypress-Fairbanks ISD saw a number of its schools at every level ranked among the best in the Houston metro area according to the website Niche.com, which analyzes data and reviews to produce comprehensive rankings and profiles for every K-12 school in the United States.

The highest-ranked schools in CFISD were Cypress Woods High School and Smith Middle School, which are both seventh, respectively, among the top-rated public high schools and middle schools in greater Houston.

Pope Elementary School is the highest-rated elementary school, ranking 16th.

Rankings for the elementary and middle schools were tabulated by these weighted factors: academics grade, teachers grade, district overall Niche.com grade, culture and diversity grade and parent/student surveys on overall experience by Niche users. Rankings for the high schools include the same weighted factors as well as added grades for clubs and activities, health and safety, resources and facilities, and sports.

Pope, Cypress Woods High School and Smith Middle School are CFISD’s top-ranked school at each respective level.

Pope, Cypress Woods High School and Smith Middle School are CFISD’s top-ranked school at each respective level. 

In addition to Pope, CFISD has seven elementary schools ranked among the top 50 public elementary schools in greater Houston and 13 total in the top 100.

Seven middle schools were among the top 50 in their respective rankings, including Salyards Middle School at 15th.

Six high schools were among the 50 best public high schools in the area, with No. 16 Cypress Ranch High School the next highest in the district after Cypress Woods.
