WELCOME TO THE CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS SUBSTITUTE OFFICE Thank you for your interest in becoming a substitute for Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. As you begin the process of applying, please be sure that you follow all six of the steps outlined below. Step One: Frequently Asked Questions Please print and read carefully.   If you are an experienced public school (K-12) educator or paraprofessional in the United States (retired, resigned, or a recent student teacher), please read FAQ # 8.  Step Two: Required Documents of All Applicants Please read the instructions on how to properly complete these documents. All applicants must download, print, complete, and bring these documents to the Substitute Applicant Training. Step Three: Instructions for On-Line Application Write down your ID and Password in order to re-enter your application at a later time. View, print, and read these instructions carefully before proceeding with on-line application. Step Four: Click here to begin on-line application. Please write down your ID and Password. Have your instructions from Step Three by your side before proceeding. After this step, you must go to Steps Five and Six and sign up for a “Substitute Applicant Training.” The Substitute Office will NOT contact you regarding this step.  You must complete Steps Five and Six in order to sign up for a Substitute Applicant Training. Step Five: Instructions for Registering for a Substitute Applicant Training   Please view and print before proceeding. Please write down your USER ID and PIN for future reference. Step Six: Register for “Substitute Applicant Training.” New Hire Orientations occur from August through March of each school year. Have your instructions from Step Four by your side before proceeding. Please write down your USER ID and PIN for future reference. Please note: If you do not have a computer, Internet access and a printer at your immediate disposal, please note that any computer with Internet access can be used. For example, computers are available at the public library.  You may also use a printer at the library for a minimal fee.
