CCHS CHOIR MEMBERS NAMED TO TMEA ALL-DISTRICT CHOIR

Thirty-one Cypress Creek High School Choir members have been chosen for the 2001 Texas Music Educators’ Association (TMEA) All-District Choir. Students prepared repertoire and auditioned with more than 900 choir members from 37 schools from all over Texas to earn this honor.

Those Cypress Creek High School students named to the TMEA All-District Choir are:

• Soprano I: Brittany Potter, Jesse Richberg, Christie Czarnek, Kate Soape, Melanie Coyner;
• Soprano II: DeLea Garcia, Erin Edinfield, Jennifer Rhoten, Sarah Tucker, Emily Gregory, Christina Stover, Merry Atkinson;
• Alto I: Lavella Webster, Stacey Johnson;
• Alto II: Becky Boyle, Jessie Douglas, Sarah Cagle, Onna Nwankwo, Kristen Filloramo, Jennifer Miori, Lauren Everhart, Miranda Kozman;
• Tenor I: Terrence Harvey, Jacob Qurashi;
• Tenor II: Seth Young, Justin Bush, Roderick Peavy;
• Bass I: Steven Miori;
• Bass II: James Nguyen, Alex Dam, and Brian Puspos.

These students will advance to the next level of the TMEA Regional competition scheduled for October 13. Their directors are Sharon Paul and Jeb Mueller.
