CYPRESS CREEK ACTORS WIN NATIONAL AWARD

Cypress Creek High School theater students Natalia Sinatora and Jeff Taylor (pictured) were national winners in the Duet Acting competition and selected to appear as Mainstage Performers out of 2,600 representatives from 42 states attending the 2001 National Convention of the International Thespian Society held in Lincoln, Neb. during the summer. Among the other 16 Cypress Creek students attending the weeklong convention, Jenny Stone was chosen for the lead in a Playfest original play while Kate Sumrow was selected as stage manager for that same production.
