LANGHAM CREEK SENIORS NAMED SEMIFINALISTS IN NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Ten Langham Creek High School seniors have been named Semifinalists in the 2003 National Merit Scholarship Program. Approximately 16,000 students nationwide are being honored for their exceptional academic promise.
Semifinalists placed among the top 1% of more than one million students who entered the Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test during their junior year. These students will continue in the competition for approximately 8,000 Merit Scholarship awards, worth more than $30 million, to be offered next spring.
Langham Creek seniors named as Semifinalists are Megan Beesley, Megan Czepiel, Anna Garza, Annie Jong, Carly Knight, Patrick Kruse, Emily Martin, Erin Prante, James Tang and Jordan Wheeler.
