CFISD FOOTBALL FANS INVITED TO HELP SUPPORT RED CROSS EFFORTS

The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD athletic department will be collecting donations from patrons attending CFISD football games played at Pridgeon Stadium September 27-29 in support of the American Red Cross recovery efforts stemming from the September 11, 2001 tragedy.

Donations are being collected in memory of those who died in the terrorists’ attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. Each high school’s "PAL" organization or junior varsity cheerleading squad will collect the donations during the following games:

• Thursday, Sept. 27 – Jersey Village vs. A&M Consolidated
• Frriday, Sept. 28 – Cy-Fair vs. Cypress Springs
• Sturday, Sept. 29 – Cypress Creek vs. Cypress Falls

Additionally, more than 24 schools in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD have each made various contributions in honor of the victims and the heroic men and women who are working in the recovery efforts.
