SALUTE TO THE STARS A HUGE SUCCESS
Fred Caldwell, co-chair of the annual Salute to the Stars gala, presents a check for $62,916 to Superintendent Rick Berry on behalf of the Cypress-Fairbanks Educational Foundation. The funds will be used for the district’s instructional grant program for teachers. The money, raised from proceeds from the 2001 gala, was presented during this year’s Salute to the Stars event September 19, 2002, at Cypress Ridge High School. Spotlight teachers from each Cypress-Fairbanks ISD campus were honored during the gala.
