Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Trustees honored George Hobson, associate superintendent for business services, and the business office staff during the October 15 board meeting. Hobson and the business office employees were recognized for receiving a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for the office’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended August, 31, 2001. This is the sixth consecutive year that the business office has received this award.
