Cypress-Fairbanks ISD trustees honored Langham Creek High School drill team director Mitzi Phillips during the May 8 board meeting. Phillips was recently chosen as Drill Team Director of the Year by the Texas Dance Educators Association.
The Texas Dance Educators Association was created in 1979 to promote dance / dance team education across the state of Texas. It currently serves more than 300 members throughout Texas and the surrounding states and provides inspiring professional development during their annual convention held in Houston.
