
Twenty-four sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students recently earned recognition as honorees of the annual Hamilton Middle School Awards Program. Two students from each "Tiger Pod" were selected to receive the prestigious Opal Hamilton Award for the 2002-2003 school year.
To receive this honor, these students earned A’s every six weeks, showed leadership abilities and were clearly outstanding in all categories.
This year’s honorees were Lindsey Caldwell and Ajitha Kommalapati (Bengal); Addison Braun and Jeremy Fant (Chinese); Libby Runde and Matthew Shirley (Javan); Brett Hunter and Phillip Lin (Balinese); Ethan Grabau and Alison Minarcik (Tasmanian); Ashley O’Brien and Alysha Tawney (Caspian); Rebecca Blanda and Heather Carleton (Manchurian); Allison Heizelman and Megha Vaidya (Indochinese); Patrick Braun and Amanda Caldwell (Siberian); Kyle Kahlden and Michelle Lin (Sabertooth); Austin Blake and Kelly Crowley (Persian); and Katherine Gajdica and Rahul Khetan (Sumatran).
