
Cypress-Fairbanks ISD trustees honored Roy Spraque, senior director of facilities
planning and construction, during the September 8 Board meeting.
Sprague was recently selected by the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI) to receive the Distinguished Service Award for 2002. Sprague also serves as president of the CEFPI Southern Region which covers Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
The Council of Educational Facility Planners International was founded in 1921 as The National Council on Schoolhouse Construction and is the primary advocate and resource for planning effective educational facilities. Fostering and disseminating best practices in creative school planning, CEFPI promotes excellence in student learning environments, serving those who use, plan, design, construct, maintain, equip and operate educational facilities. The Council is a not-for-profit organization, representing more than 2,600 members in the United States, Canada, Australia and other nations worldwide.
