During the fifth annual Superintendent's Student Leadership Conferences set for November 11 and 14 in the Instructional Support Center, 10300 Jones Road, 175 student leaders from the district's high school campuses and 198 students from the district's middle schools will work together for the common goal of creating schools where students feel a sense of belonging.
Representatives from all eight high schools will meet November 11 while middle school leaders will participate November 14. The conference will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on both days and the theme is "Taking a Stand: Responsibility for Self, Others and School."
Upon their return to campuses, these student representatives will lead their school groups to create action plans that address specific goals to support the overall district goal of creating a school where everyone belongs.
