ELEMENTARY TEACHER WINS NATIONAL AWARD
Cypress-Fairbanks ISD trustees honored
Lindsay Laughlin, teacher at Hancock Elementary School, during the December 15
Board meeting. Laughlin was recently named National Student Teacher/Intern of
the Year by Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, and the
Association of Teacher Educators. The National Student Teacher/Intern of the Year
Award is an annual contest and the winner receives a $600 stipend and a plaque
at the national conference, which was held in St. Louis in November.
