Cypress-Fairbanks ISD trustees honored four high school students who excelled in the 2003 Fall Photo Contest during the December 15 Board meeting. Two hundred and forty-six students were selected as winners from the more than 2,000 students from Texas, Kansas and Iowa that entered the contest, hosted by the Association of Texas Photography Instructors (ATPI). Cypress Falls High School student Patric Sleightholm, instructed by Erica Scott, captured first place in Digital Competition. Jersey Village High School student Ian Gordon, taught by Cindy Stoker, won first place in the Public Service Announcement category. Cypress Creek High School students Bobby Greenwood and Donny Hermes, instructed by Lana Jo Mathis, won second place in the Music Video Category.
