Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District trustees honored Pam Wells, associate superintendent for general administration, during the August 9 Board meeting. Wells was recognized for her role as superintendent designee from January 1 through June 30, 2004 and was presented with a beautiful flower arrangement from the Board.
“Mrs. Wells served as superintendent designee for Cy-Fair ISD from January through June as well as continuing her duties as associate superintendent for general administration. During her time of service she recommended 20 construction projects totaling $202 million, recommended and appointed principals for six elementary schools, one middle school and one high school, recommended and appointed five directors and led a team of administrators and the Board as we worked to re-write the district goals into a more concise and effective document,” said Lida Woodul, president of the Board of Trustees. “Pam also continued to read with students, visit with volunteer and community groups, counsel with staff and work late into the night to ensure a smooth transition for the district as we transitioned from one superintendent to another.”
