Artwork created by Aragon Middle School students in Susan Walrath’s and Susan Gifford’s art classes is now on display at Wired, a coffee and Internet cafe located at 9740 Barker Cypress. The artwork is from the “Creatures” collection created by the middle school students.
“Students used their imagination to come up with creatures that had attributes from reptiles, birds and fish. They are done in oil pastel with tempera paint backgrounds,” said Walrath. “It is the first time that the coffee house has shown student artwork since it just opened within the last few months.”
Walrath added that the artwork will be changed out on a regular basis as students complete other projects.
