Langham Creek High School senior Stephen Harrington has been chosen as a finalist for the Houston Touchdown Club Scholar Athlete of the Year. Winners will be announced during the annual Houston Touchdown Club Scholar Athlete Luncheon on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at the JW Marriott Hotel, 5150 Westheimer.
Only 25 scholar athletes from the greater Houston area were chosen as finalists.
“We are proud of Stephen’s accomplishments at Langham Creek. He has been a three-year letterman on the football team, served as a captain his senior year and was named as a second team All-District tight end. Congratulations to Stephen and his family” said Mac Woodfin, head football coach and campus coordinator at Langham Creek.
Harrington has maintained a 6.5714 grade point average in his academic studies. His class rank is 25 of 688 senior students at Langham Creek.
