CFISD SOCCER SEASON ENDS WITH SIX TEAMS ADVANCING TO PLAYOFFS

The Cypress-Fairbanks soccer season has ended, with six teams advancing to the playoffs scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 29, 2005.

The CFISD boys’ teams ended the season with Cypress Falls in first place, followed by Cypress Creek in second and Jersey Village placing third. Cypress Falls begins the bi-district playoffs with a bye. Cypress Creek will play Stratford on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, 5:30 p.m. at Reggie Grob Stadium, 9000 Westview, in Spring Branch, and the Falcons of Jersey Village will play McArthur on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Jersey Village High School, 7600 Solomon Street.

The girls’ soccer teams brought their successful season to a close with Cy-Fair placing first, followed by Cypress Creek in second, and Cypress Falls in third. Cy-Fair will begin the bi-district play-offs with a bye. Cypress Creek will play Stratford on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at Grob Stadium, and Cypress Falls will play Aldine on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at the Klein High School annex field.
