February 15, 2006 CFISD GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAMS ADVANCE TO AREA PLAYOFFS   The District 17-5A girls high school basketball season recently ended with the Cy-Fair High School Lady Bobcats garnering the District Champion title, Cypress Falls High School   Lady Eagles taking second place, and Cypress Springs High School Lady Panthers placing third.     With the Lady Bobcats having a “bye” for the first round of playoffs, Cy Falls and Cy Springs competed in Bi-district play on Feb. 14. In their game against Memorial High School, the Lady Eagles took a win to advance to area playoffs. The Lady Panthers were defeated by Nimitz High School and ended the season as third place district champions. The Cy-Fair Lady Bobcats will get into playoff action with a game against Dulles High School at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 at Seven Lakes High School in Katy.   Immediately following this game, the Cy Falls Lady Eagles will take on Elkins High School at 7:30 p.m.
