February 22, 2006CFISD TEAMS ADVANCE TO NEXT ROUND OF BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS
With the Cypress Springs Panthers defeating Aldine Nimitz, the Cypress Creek Cougars gaining a victory over Stratford, and the Cypress Falls Eagles drawing a “bye” in the first round, all teams will now advance to the next round of the boys area basketball playoffs. District champs Cypress Falls High School will go into playoff action against Ft. Bend Hightower on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. at Morton Ranch located at 210000 Franz Rd. in Katy. Cypress Creek High School will play Ft. Bend Marshall on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. at Cinco Ranch located at 23440 Cinco Ranch Blvd. in Katy. Cypress Springs will play Alief Hastings on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Cypress Falls High School, located at 9811 Huffmeister Rd. |
