February 23, 2006CY-FAIR LADY BOBCATS ADVANCE TO REGIONAL 5A TOURNAMENT
The Cy-Fair Lady Bobcats defeated Cinco Ranch 66-62 on Tuesday night in overtime to advance to the Regional 5A Tournament. “The game against Cinco Ranch was a hard fought battle by both teams. We feel good about advancing and hope we can play well against a very good Westside team,” said head basketball coach Ann Roubique. The Bobcats will play Westside on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at 6 p.m. at the M.O. Campbell Center located at 1865 Aldine Bender in Aldine. A victory against Westside will give Cy-Fair an entrance to the Regional Finals set for Saturday, Feb. 25. Tickets to the game are $5 and can be purchased at the door. |
