March 27, 2006 CFISD SOCCER SEASON ENDS WITH SIX TEAMS ADVANCING TO PLAYOFFS   The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD soccer season has ended with six teams advancing to the playoffs scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 28, 2006. The CFISD boys teams ended the season with the Cy-Fair Bobcats in first place, followed by the Cypress Falls Eagles in second and the Cypress Creek Cougars placing third. Cy-Fair begins the bi-district playoffs with a bye. The Eagles will play Spring Woods at 7 p.m. at Rhodes Stadium in Katy on Tuesday, March 28 and the Cougars will play Aldine MacArthur at 8 p.m. at Klein Auxiliary Stadium on Tuesday, March 28, 2006. The girls soccer teams brought their successful season to a close with the Cypress Falls Lady Eagles placing first, followed by the Cypress Creek Lady Cougars in second, and the Cy-Fair Lady Bobcats in third. Cypress Falls will begin the bi-district play-offs with a bye. Cypress Creek will play Aldine MacArthur at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at Thorne Stadium, and Cy-Fair will play Aldine at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at the Klein Auxiliary Stadium.
