TWO CFISD SCHOOLS CONTINUE IN SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL PLAYOFFS
Cy-Fair Lady Bobcats advance, Cypress Creek Lady Cougars end season The Cy-Fair Lady Bobcats defeated Elkins High School 2-0 earning the team another round of playoffs—this time against Katy High School. The Lady Bobcats will play Katy in a best two out of three series on Friday, May 12 at Morton Ranch. The first game will begin at 6 p.m. and the second game will begin at 8 p.m. If a third game is necessary, it will be on Saturday, May 13 at Langham Creek High School at 5 p.m. The Cypress Creek Lady Cougars lost to Clements 2-0, ending their season as district champions. Both Cy-Fair and Langham Creek baseball win first round series 2-0 After defeating Spring Woods in game one 4-1, and 9-6 in game two, the Langham Creek Lobos will take on Elkins in the best two out of three games for the next round of playoffs. The first game will be at Elkins on Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. The second game will be at Langham Creek on Friday, May 12 at 4 p.m. The third game, if necessary, will be held Saturday, May 13 at 4 p.m. at Seven Lakes High School in Katy. The Cy-Fair Bobcats swept Nimitz 11-2 in game one and 4-2 in game two paving a path to the next round against Katy’s Cinco Ranch. The best two out of three series will be played at Cinco Ranch on Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. The second game will be at Cy-Fair on Friday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. and the third game, if necessary, will be held Saturday, May 13 at 3 p.m. at Cy-Fair High School. |
