May 23, 2006   CY-FAIR HIGH SCHOOL ADVANCES TO BASEBALL REGIONAL SEMIFINALS   The Cy-Fair Bobcats advance to the Region III baseball semifinals after defeating Tomball in a 2-1 victory series.  Cy-Fair beat Tomball 4-2 in game one, followed by a 8-1 loss in game two. The two teams challenged each other in a close game three in which Cy-Fair came out victorious with a 3-2 win over Tomball.  Cy-Fair will play Clear Creek High School at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 at Cy-Fair High School.   The second game will be at Clear Creek High School at noon on Friday, May 26, and a third game, if necessary, will be held at Frankie Field in Fort Bend on Saturday, May 27 at 10 a.m. The Langham Creek Lobos were defeated in a 2-0 series by Katy High School. The Lobos end the season as area champions.
