May 2, 2006 CFISD SCHOOLS ADVANCE IN SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL PLAYOFFS   Cy-Fair and Cypress Creek softball teams move to next round of playoffs The Cy-Fair Lady Bobcats defeated Stratford High School to advance to the next round of playoffs and will play Elkins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 at Seven Lakes High School in Katy.   The Cypress Creek Lady Cougars had a bye for the first round of playoffs and will play Clements High School on Thursday, May 4 at 7 p.m. at Stratford High School.     Cy-Fair and Langham Creek baseball teams tie for second place and advance to playoffs The baseball season ended with the Langham Creek Lobos and the Cy-Fair Bobcats tied for second place in district play. Playoffs will begin this week with Langham Creek competing against Spring Woods in a three-game playoff beginning 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 at Langham Creek High School.   The second game will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 5 at Spring Woods.   The third game, if needed, will be on Saturday, May 6 at 4 p.m. The Bobcats will play Nimitz in a three-game playoff beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 at Langford.   The second game will be on Friday, May 5 at 4 p.m. at Cy-Fair High School.   The third game, if needed, will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 at Jersey Village High School.
