Student artwork to be featured at dog show
May 25, 2007 — The artwork of 32 students
from three CFISD schools will be on display at the Dr.
Mari Jon Filla Student Art Exhibit & Contest from
July 19-22 at the Reliant Center. The exhibit, entitled
“The Dog – Man’s Best Friend,”
will be held in conjunction with the Reliant Park World
Series of Dog Shows.
Participants in the contest will be eligible for a number
of awards, including a $500 prize for Best in Show or
a $100 prize for Best in Grade.
The following students’ artwork will be featured:
Bang
Elementary
•
Kindergarten: Erick Curiel, Robert Fields and Darren
Nguyen;
• First grade: Larry Chuao, Bobby Ginsburg and
Zinah Zamir;
• Second grade: Owen Startup, Nathalia Nguyen
and Savannah Migl;
• Third grade: Katherine Tran, Jacob Robinson
and Josh Sanchez;
• Fourth grade: Victoria Beaver, Benny Obregon
and Cooper Cash; and
• Fifth grade: Ashlyn Syzdek, Jessica Breckenridge
and Theodora Bossett.
Wilson Elementary
• Fifth grade: Kameron Bush, Paul Mitzkowski and
Jennifer Nguyen.
Goodson Middle School
• Sixth grade: Sam Duarte, Chrystine Gallegos,
Kelsey Supak, Diego Perez, Emilie Zachary, Trevor Groves,
Jason Krezinski and Abigail Foster;
• Seventh grade: Emily Davis; and
• Eighth grade: Michael Rivera.
