Cy-Fair heads to state tourney

 

June 4, 2007 — The Cy-Fair baseball team (31-7) will advance to the Class 5A state tournament for a second time in school history after sweeping Kingwood in a best-of-three-series 2-0 with a 16-6 win in the final game.

The state baseball tournament games will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. If Cy-Fair wins, the second game will be played at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, at Dell Diamond.
