September 28, 2007 —Longtime Houston development company Mischer Development donated $10,000 to Warner Elementary School for the purchase of additional playground equipment for the newly opened CFISD school.
Mischer developed the 1,400-acre community, Cypress Creek Lakes, which borders Warner Elementary. Roy Behrens, senior project director for Mischer, presented the check to Warner principal Michael Maness at the school on Sept. 19.
“We want to be good neighbors to Cy-Fair ISD, just as they are good neighbors of ours,” Behrens said. “We need to work together to meet the needs of our residents and our kids.”
