October 29, 2007 — The Cy-Fair and Cypress Woods high school tennis teams finished their fall seasons at the Region III-5A Team Tennis Meet, held last weekend at the Deer Park High School South Campus and San Jacinto College.

Cy-Fair defeated Westside, 11-7, in the opening round, before falling to top seed and eventual regional champion Katy Taylor, 10-1, in the quarterfinals.

Cypress Woods was defeated in the first round by No. 4 seed and eventual regional semifinalist Katy Cinco Ranch, 11-3.
