November 9, 2007 — Langham Creek High School s enior soccer player Branden Lassen was selected to represent Langham Creek Men’s Soccer as a 3-N Out Sports/Houston Dynamo Greater Houston Senior Showcase representative.

Similar to the Touchdown Club for football, the Senior Showcase is a way for Houston-area soccer teams to recognize a top senior leader to be included in the yearly poster of senior leaders.

Lassen comes into the 2008 season in the Lobos starting lineup for the fourth consecutive year, and comes off a junior season in which he registered 12 goals and nine assists. He is a three-time All-District selection, a Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO) All-Region nominee and currently ranks in the LCHS Men's Soccer statistical top 10.

He is also a 2008 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas All-Region/All-American Finalist, a TASCO All-Region/All-State nominee, and was named to the All-Tournament teams at both the Woodlands Kilt Cup and the Diadora Cup.

“ It is great to be recognized with other senior leaders throughout the Houston area,” Lassen said. “We look forward to a strong 2008 campaign.”

  The Lobos’ regular season will begin Jan. 8 at Brenham.
