December 10, 2007 —Langham Creek High School senior goalkeeper Jacob Truitt was named to the NSCAA/Adidas Region VI Team, which encompasses players from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. 

Only 14 players achieved this level of recognition, which qualified Truitt for All-American consideration. On Friday, 80 of the nation’s top boys prep players, including Truitt, were recognized and honored for selection to the 2007 NSCAA/Adidas Men's High School All-America Team.

Truitt was invited to the NSCAA National Convention in Baltimore, Md., in January to be recognized and honored for his achievement. This honor continues to add to his list of accomplishments. Truitt is a four-year varsity letterman, a three-time All-District Selection, a TASCO All-Region Selection, and was named to the Houston Dynamo/Adidas Elite XI Team in 2007. He currently holds six school records and is a 2008 Captain Selection.
