February 18, 2008 — The Cy-Fair High School girls basketball team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Class 5A Region III playoffs with a 67-43 victory over Madison on Thursday night in the area round.

Cy-Fair is now 33-2 overall and will face Alief Elsik on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Berry Center ( 8877 Barker Cypress Road ) at 7 p.m.

Admission for adults, students and children is $3 at the gate.
