February 20, 2008 — The Cy-Fair High School girls basketball team advanced to the semifinal round of the Class 5A Region III playoffs with a 61-26 victory over Alief Elsik on Tuesday night at the Berry Center .

Cy-Fair is now 34-2 overall and will face Dulles on Friday, Feb. 22 at the Campbell Center (1865 Aldine Bender Road) in Aldine at 6 p.m. The winner will face the Cinco Ranch vs. Marshall winner in the Region III final at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Campbell Center. Tickets for the regional tournament are $5 per person.
