March 7, 2008 — The Cy-Fair High School girls basketball team will receive recognition from Houston Mayor Bill White and City Council Member Jolanda Jones during a special presentation at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11 at Houston City Hall ( 901 Bagby St .).

The players and coaches will receive a proclamation from Mayor White and certificates from Jones—an attorney who was a former track and field star at the University of Houston.

Prior to their recognition downtown, the Lady Bobcats will be featured on the KHOU Channel 11 program Great Day Houston, which will air beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
