June 4, 2008 —CFISD high schools and middle schools have announced their respective dates for the 2008-2009 Express Days. During Express Days, students prepare for the upcoming school year by completing a variety of registration processes.

Examples include picking up parking stickers, completing course selection sheets, receiving locker assignments, taking pictures for student IDs, meeting the principal and picking up textbooks.

High School

• Cy-Fair ’s Bobcat Express will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 8 to 10 a.m. for sophomores and from noon to 2 p.m. for juniors; Thursday, Aug. 14 from 8 to 10 a.m. for seniors; Saturday, Aug. 16 from 8 to 11 a.m. (A-M) and from noon to 3 p.m. (N-Z) for Freshman Orientation.
• Cypress Creek ’s Cougar Express will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12 for freshmen and sophomores from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. (A-M) and from 1 to 3 p.m. (N-Z); and on Thursday, Aug. 14 for juniors and seniors from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. (A-M) and 1 to 3 p.m. (N-Z).
• Cypress Falls ’ Eagle Express will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14. Seniors can attend from 8 to 10 a.m., sophomores will attend from 10 a.m. to noon and juniors will attend from 1 to 3 p.m.
• Cypress Ranch ’s Mustang Express will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16 for sophomores from 8 to 9:30 a.m. (A-L) and 9 to 11 a.m. (M-Z); and for freshmen from 12:30 to 2 p.m. (A-L) and 2 to 3:30 p.m. (M-Z).
• Cypress Ridge ’s Ram Express will be held on Friday, Aug. 15 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. for seniors, noon to 2:30 p.m. for juniors and 3 to 6 p.m. for sophomores; and Saturday, Aug. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for freshmen.
• Cypress Woods ’ Wildcat Express will be held on Thursday, Aug. 7 for seniors from noon to 1:30 p.m. (A-L) and 2 to 3:30 p.m. (M-Z); Friday, Aug. 8 for juniors from noon to 1:30 p.m. (A-L) and 2 to 3:30 p.m. (M-Z); Saturday, Aug. 9 for freshmen from 8 to 9:30 a.m. (A-L) and 10 to 11:30 a.m. (M-Z) and for sophomores from 12:30 to 2 p.m. (A-L) and 2 to 3:30 p.m. (M-Z).
• Langham Creek ’s Lobo Express will be held on Monday, Aug. 11. Seniors can attend from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.; juniors can attend from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and sophomores can attend from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Middle School

• Arnold ’s Buc Express will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14 for eighth-grade students from 4 to 5:30 p.m. (A-L) and from 5:30 to 7 p.m. (M-Z); Friday, Aug. 15 for seventh-grade students from 4 to 5:30 p.m. (A-L) and from 5:30 to 7 p.m. (M-Z); Saturday, Aug. 16 for sixth-grade students from 9 to 10:30 a.m. (A-L) and from 10:30 a.m. to noon (M-Z). Sixth-grade Expeditions will be held on Aug. 20 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• Bleyl ’s Brahma Express will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 9 to 11 a.m. for sixth-grade students and from 1 to 3 p.m. for seventh- and eighth-grade students.
• Campbell ’s Gator Day will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 8 a.m. to noon for sixth grade and 1 to 3 p.m. for seventh and eighth grades.
• Cook ’s Ranger Express is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 14 for seventh grade from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and eighth grade from 6 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Aug. 16 for sixth grade from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
• Goodson ’s Grizzly Growl Express will be on Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. for sixth grade, on Thursday, Aug. 21 from 8 to 11 a.m. for seventh grade and from 1 to 4 p.m. for eighth grade.
• Hamilton ’s Tiger Express is set for Thursday, Aug. 21 for seventh grade from 8 to 9:30 a.m. (A-L) and 9:30 to 11 a.m. (M-Z); for eighth grade from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (A-L) and 2:30 to 4 p.m. (M-Z); and Saturday, Aug. 23 for sixth grade from 8 to 10 a.m. (A-G), 10 a.m. to noon (H-N) and noon to 2 p.m. (O-Z).
• Kahla ’s Knight Express will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 8 to 11 a.m. for sixth grade and from 1 to 4 p.m. for seventh and eighth grades.
• Labay ’s Eagle Express will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 8 to 11 a.m. for sixth grade, noon to 2 p.m. for seventh grade and 2 to 4 p.m. for eighth grade. The make-up Express Day will be Thursday, Aug. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Spillane ’s Spartan Express will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23. Sixth-grade students will attend from 9 to 11 a.m., seventh-grade students will attend from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and eighth-grade students will attend from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
• Truitt’s Timberwolf Express is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. for sixth grade.
• Watkins ’ Bulldog Express is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 16 from 8 to 11 a.m. for sixth grade and from noon to 3 p.m. for seventh and eighth grades.
