June 18, 2008 — Quiznos Sub Sandwich Shop will partner with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD during the 2008-2009 school year, providing meals for Radio-Television (RTV) students who assist in television broadcasts of monthly Board of Trustees meetings.

Owner Marcos Caruso of the Quiznos locations at 6123 Fry Road and 25832 Northwest Freeway, will donate the food for the students working for CFTV Ch. 16 (Comcast Cable) prior to Board Work Sessions each month at the Instructional Support Center ( 10300 Jones Road ), beginning with the Aug. 7, 2008 meeting and concluding with the June 25, 2009 meeting.

CFISD Partners In Education director Pam Scott praised Quiznos and Caruso for their generous donation of time and resources.

“This is a tremendous service to the students who CFISD relies on to provide information that can be conveniently received in the homes of district residents via our cable channel,” Scott said. “ We look forward to a positive partnership between Quiznos, the CFTV studio staff and our district as a whole.”
