October 30, 2008 — The Cy-Fair, Cypress Woods, Cypress Creek and Cypress Falls high school volleyball teams completed the regular season with the top four records in District 15-5A to qualify for the postseason. All of CFISD’s Region II bi-district playoff matches will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The playoff schedule is as follows:

• Cy-Fair, the co-champion in District 15-5A, will face Georgetown at Brenham High School (525 A.H. Ehrig Dr. in Brenham) at 6:30 p.m.;
• Cypress Woods, the other district co-champion, will play either Leander or Cedar Park at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road) at 6:30 p.m.;
• Cypress Creek, the third-place district finisher, will compete against Round Rock Westwood at Round Rock McNeil High School (5720 McNeil Dr. in Austin) at 7 p.m.; and
• Cypress Falls, the fourth-place qualifier, will face Round Rock at Round Rock High School (300 Lake Creek Dr. in Round Rock) at 6 p.m.
