November 5, 2008 — The Langham Creek and Cypress Falls high school tennis teams finished their respective seasons in the Region II-5A Team Tennis Tournament in Tyler last weekend.

Langham Creek, the District 15-5A champion, defeated Belton 10-7 in the opening round of the 16-team tournament before falling to Georgetown 11-3 in the quarterfinals.

Cypress Falls, the district runner-up, lost to Lake Highlands 10-6 in the opening round.
