Lobo soccer players selected to all-region team

May 8, 2009 — Three Langham Creek High School boys soccer players were named to the 2009 All-Region II team by the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO) this week.
Lobos were represented on the team for the seventh consecutive year, as senior Andres Gomez, junior Jade George and sophomore Nick Boardley received the distinguished honor.
Additionally, head coach Scott Tucker was selected to coach the North squad for the TASCO Senior Showcase match, to be held in Brenham on May 15. Gomez and fellow Lobo seniors Matt Mayer and Manuel Flores will play for the North team. Langham Creek players have participated in the TASCO all-star event for two out of the last three years.
"We are so excited about the recognitions that players from the Langham Creek men's soccer program continue to receive," Tucker said. "It truly says a tremendous amount about the quality of all the young men who represent our program year in and year out, and each of our players understand these would not be possible without teammates, parents and coaches behind them every step of the way."
