Board postpones goal-setting workshop

June 10, 2009 — The CFISD Board of Trustees annual goal-setting workshop, originally scheduled for Thursday, June 11, has been postponed pending the Board’s adoption of the 2009-2010 budget.

By Texas law, a school district that completes its fiscal year in June must adopt the next year’s budget by June 30. The goal-setting workshop will be rescheduled once the budget has been approved by the Board.
