Cy Creek girls, Cy-Fair boys win regional water polo titles
October 21, 2009 — The Cypress Creek High School girls and Cy-Fair High School boys water polo teams won their respective titles at the Texas High School Water Polo Coaches Associate North Region Championships, held last weekend at the Conroe ISD Natatorium.
The Cypress Creek girls clinched the championship by defeating The Woodlands, 15-10, in the title game. The Cy-Fair boys edged Cypress Creek, 8-7, in overtime to win its championship.
The THSWPCA State Championships will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Conroe ISD Natatorium.
Twenty-four CFISD athletes and two coaches were named to the All-Region Water Polo teams:
