Football playoffs set for this weekend

November 9, 2009 — District 15-5A football play wrapped up on Saturday, and four teams emerged as playoff contenders. Region II-5A bi-district competition will ensue on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14.

The following teams will compete in the Division I and Division II playoff brackets:

Division I

• Cypress Woods vs. Round Rock Westwood; Saturday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.; Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road); and

• Cypress Falls vs. Round Rock Stony Point; Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.; Round Rock ISD Athletic Complex (10211 W. Parmer Lane).

Division II

• Cypress Creek vs. Leander; Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.; Berry Center; and

• Cypress Ridge vs. Cedar Park; Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.; Bible Memorial Stadium (3301 S. Bagdad Road) in Leander.

Football playoff tickets are currently available through the online ticket vendor TicketServant at www.ticketservant.com. They can also be purchased at each of the participating schools’ cafeterias during lunch periods or at the Athletics Department at the Berry Center.
